House sitting around the world
House sitting around the world Why not dog, cat or house sit? It is great to care for animals and live in a home. I left the UK back in October 2016 in search of a new life. Although I feel very much at home in Bali, it’s where I have been spending most of my time, I must say it’s really nice to experience a real home environment and be part of a wider community of people. Dog Sitting in Narrabeen Sydney
Dog sitting in Narrabeen, Sydney is one way of getting a dog for Christmas. This is my first official dog sitting experience in Australia. I am so excited and I have already taken Milo the dog I am sitting for a walk. Not only will I get some great exercise, I get to live on the Northern Beaches for even longer! As you may have gathered I love the Northern Beaches and I would love to live here for a few months here and there every year! I am lucky enough to be able to get a 3-month visa and stay in this beautiful part of the world. Thank you, universe!…

Inspiration in the Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia
Inspiration in the Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia Wow – it’s been a long since I have been to the Blue Mountains, in NSW and I wasn’t disappointed with my weekend break in Katoomba. It rained the first day and as I was only fitted out with summer clothes so I retreated to the lovely cafes along the main street and visited a variety of small art galleries. The Bear Gallery was my favourite – definitely worth a walk further down the road to the larger Gallery space, in a white washboard house. They consistently show the work of 40 artists from around and connected to the Blue Mountains who live…

Top Ten Things in Sydney this week…
1. Sydney Writers Festival 22nd-28 May 2017 I will be seeing Robert Forster ex founding member of the Go-Betweens, he’s doing a talk at the Sydney Writer’s Festival. He has written a book called GRANT & I. I saw the Go-Betweens play live loads of times in London over the years. They have recorded over 15 albums but never really hit the big time! A bit like the Indie band I was in during the 90’s – never quite got there but had a lot of praise during their time. I will be seeing Liane Moriarty author of The Husband’s Secret and Little Big Lies – she was really popular in my book club…
