How to Process Grief?
How to process grief? That’s a big question I know, and over the years I have found new ways to process my grief. From journaling to singing, to writing my own song and learning to play guitar to honour my feelings and expressing myself.
When your life becomes a lie...I Am Alice, Break Up, Breakdown, Breakthrough
Imagine tomorrow your life will suddenly change. There is no going back to your previous life. Nothing will return to normal. You are hanging by a thin transparent thread and drifting into other dimensions. Your heartbeat will increase, your anxiety will rocket, you will feel mentally confused and stressed, but within you is a powerful driving force to overcome any obstacle and you are determined to find the truth.
Memories of our Loved One’s
This is a letter he wrote to me when I ended up getting sectioned in a psychiatric ward, where again he supported me as he knew I shouldn’t be in there. He knew the truth that I was suffering from grief. Words can be so powerful, for helping others and hurting others. Why do we write our own true stories ?
When we go through monumental change we can often be moved to share it. Why? Firstly, Because we know it will help others. We feel compelled to share our wisdom and experience so others can benefit from out truth. We found a way through the transformation and growth and in sharing our story we hope to help others who can relate to it. It’s that simple. Sharing our vulnerable experience can help dissolve our own personal shame and embarrassment knowing that we are not alone. Our personal experience has probably happened to others in similar ways.
